Why set up a Direct Debit or Standing Order?
Most of our costs will be regular, ongoing costs. If you are able to give on a regular basis – no matter what amount – then we will know how much we can afford and what extra grants we have to apply for.
It is important that we can deliver what we say – when people are vulnerable, we mustn’t get their hopes up only to have to turn them away part way through a course.
Examples of some of our monthly running costs (approx.) –
Workshop overheads: £200
Staffing costs (part-time): £1200
Participant bus costs: £130
Consumables, e.g. glue, screws: £22
Training, e.g. First Aid, Health & Safety: £18
